“Startup Europe” aims to strengthen the business environment for web and ICT entrepreneurs so that their ideas and business can start and grow in the EU. Startup Europe‘s next activity is Startup Europe Week (SEW), that aims to set up a meetup in every single region of Europe to inform startups about the available support and resources both at local and EU level. From 1–5 February 2016, SEW partners all over Europe will present the projects sponsored by Startup Europe and all other relevant initiatives being developed. Entrepreneurs will have the chance to meet Startup Europe project leaders and some of the most relevant people supporting entrepreneurs in their region. The goal is to bring together as many regions as possible. The SEW will have the valuable support of Startup Europe and the Committee of the Regions.
However, Startup Europe needs hundreds of SEW Co-Organisers all over Europe to make the week a success. A SEW Co-Organiser’s main task will be to encourage participation from local authorities, as well as to organise and promote the relevant events in their city/region. Applications for SEW organiser positions can be submitted via the official SEW website.
