During the Researchers’ Night in September 28, the Politecnico of Milan, the University of Studies of Milan and the Bicocca University of Milan organized a music competition open to solo singers and bands from all over Europe.
How to participate
The competition is open to all European musicians age, provided that the soloist, or at least one band member is a researcher (PhD, PhD, fellows, research assistants, researchers, professors, contractors, associates and ordinary) member university or research center officially recognized.
Registration and expiry
Applicants must register online at the website http://www.meetmetonight.it/concorso-musicale/ and upload their tracks by 18:00 on 29 August 2012.
To the band/artist selected the promoters ensure:
- exhibition for day-stay residents to more than 150 km from Milan; -an engineer; -a sound system; -a backline.
Any other special requirements will be borne by the band / artist will be notified and expressly approved by the organization.
Selection
A panel of experts will select the ten finalists who will compete during the final concert on 28 September in Milan.
Awards
The winner will receive two days in a recording studio for the recording of a single, followed by a tutor, as well as a plaque.
The 2nd and 3rd place will receive a plaque.
